At Eclaa, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services.
1. Information We Collect
• Personal Information:
When you create an account or book a service, we collect details such as your name and phone number. This helps us verify your identity, manage bookings, and ensure secure communication between you and the beauty center.
• Usage and Technical Data:
We automatically collect non-personal information about how you interact with Eclaa, such as:
• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Log files and crash reports
• App usage metrics (e.g., screens viewed, time spent)
This information is used to understand how our app performs and to improve reliability and user
experience.
• Third-Party Analytics:
Eclaa uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to analyze aggregate usage data and app performance. Firebase may collect anonymous identifiers and device information to help us understand app engagement and crashes. • Payment and Transaction Information :
When you make a payment or top up your wallet using Credit Card, Mada, or Apple Pay, we collect specific transaction details to process your order and maintain financial records. This includes
• Transaction Identifiers: Order IDs and Payment Gateway References (e.g., TransactionRef).
• Payment Status: The status of your transaction (e.g., Pending, Authorized, Declined) and
gateway response messages.
• Financial Details: The transaction amount and currency.
• Method Details: The payment method used (e.g., Visa, Mada, Apple Pay) and partial card
information (specifically, only the last 4 digits of your card) for verification purposes.
Important: We do not store your full credit card number, CVV code, or expiration date. All sensitive payment processing is handled by our secure payment partner, Alinma Bank (ClickPay).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
• Manage your appointments and beauty services
• Communicate updates about bookings, offers, or promotions (only with your consent)
• Improve the app’s features, security, and performance
• Analyze aggregate app usage to enhance user experience
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud
• Process Transactions: To verify payments for bookings and wallet top-ups.
• Support & Troubleshooting: We use transaction reference numbers and gateway response
codes to resolve payment disputes or failed transactions.
• Record Keeping: To maintain a history of your orders and wallet balance as required by
financial regulations.
3. Sharing Your Information
We respect your privacy and do not sell your personal data.
Your data may be shared only in these limited circumstances:
• Service Providers: With trusted third parties who help us operate our app (e.g., cloud
hosting, analytics).
• Legal Requirements: If necessary to comply with applicable laws or protect the rights,
property, or safety of users or others.
• Payment Processors: We share necessary transaction data with Alinma Bank (ClickPay) to
facilitate secure payments. When you pay, you are redirected to a secure page hosted by Alinma
Bank; Eclaa transmits your Order ID and Amount to them, and they return the payment status and
reference number to us.
4. Data Security
We implement encryption, secure servers, and limited data access controls to protect your
personal data.
However, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security, and you acknowledge and
accept this inherent risk.
Wallet Security: Your in-app wallet balance is stored securely on our servers. Any
"top-up" transactions are processed via the same secure gateway described above. We regularly
audit wallet transactions to prevent fraud.
5. Your Rights
You have full control over your personal information:
• Access, correct, or delete your account data via your account settings
• Opt out of promotional messages by adjusting notification preferences in the app or by
using the unsubscribe option in emails
6. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
7. Children’s Privacy
Eclaa is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from minors. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such data, it will be deleted immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The revised version will be posted within the app, along with a new effective date. Continued use of Eclaa after any updates indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
